Since I moved to San Francisco in September Judgement Day has been hard at work writing songs for our next record. It has been an interesting process. Every song has been very different. We have some songs that we wrote over a year ago, some that we wrote together in our practice space this fall, some that we wrote out on a computer and one song that we actually wrote by jamming live at shows. The different approaches have lead to a pretty wide variety of material. This weekend we started tracking drums at Nu-Tone Studio in Pittsburg, CA with our friend Riki Feldmann. It went really well. We have drums tracked for three songs and they sound totally huge and epic. I’m excited.
