Dubbing Out the Jams

The new album is coming along. We finished tracking drums at Nu-Tone and took a week off for the holidays and now we’re going to get back into it. One of the biggest tasks we have ahead of us in the next couple of weeks is sorting through all of the jams that we recorded. There are over 3 hours worth of jams and a bunch of them are really sweet so we’ll definitely be finding places for some of it on the record. Here’s a video of Riki doing a dub mix of one jam (this one won’t be on the record):

We were on the radio

We played acoustic on Mikey Likes it the other day. It was fun. Check out some acoustic versions of some new tunes and an interview on the podcast HERE

Studio Update

We’re making good progress in the studio. We have drums totally tracked for 5 songs now and some cello done as well. We’ve also been recording some sweet jams all together. Maybe some of them will make it on the record as too. Overall I think it’s going pretty well.
