We bought a van! Well, a minivan. It’s prefect though. We can fit all of our stuff in there and still have some room to move around. That’s the beauty of being a 3-piece without amps. We need to think of a good name for it. If you think of one you should leave it as a comment on this entry.

So we are in Oregon now. We played in Eugene on Wednesday and and Corvallis last night. Both of the shows were great. We’ve been having a fun time. There was a webcast of the show last night at The Fireworks venue and it actually sounded pretty good so we’ve got a song from it for download here:

Tonight we’re playing in Salem, which is a very short drive, so we pretty much have the day off. We’re staying at our aunt and uncle’s amazing house and they’re letting us ride their bikes so I think we’re going to ride downtown, check out some music stores and try to put some cd’s at Happy Trails Records. It should be a pretty fun day.

Lewis and I are finishing up the last week of tour with The Mates of State now and getting ready to jump back into Judgement Day at the end of the month. We’re going to be kicking it off with another northwest tour and this time we’re going to be doing it right:

June 25 – Eugene, OR
June 26 – Corvallis, OR
June 27 – Salem, OR
June 28 – Portland, OR
June 29 – Seattle, WA

We really need helping getting the word out for these shows so here is the deal that we’ve come up with: If you want to help us promote for these northwest shows we will send you 5 free posters to put up wherever you want. The only rule is that you have to live close to where the show is happening.

For anyone who really wants a poster but doesn’t live in Oregon or Washington, we’re sorry this time. We won’t be able to get you any posters for these northwest shows. If this goes well though, we’ll start doing it for most of our future shows so you can help us out and get posters when we come to your town.
